पेंशनधारकों को एक खास सुविधा का फायदा दिया जाता है जो कि बहुत सारे पेंशनधारकों को पता ही नही होता। अगर आप केन्द्रिय पेंशनभोगी है या आपके घर मे कोई पेंशनभोगी है तो ये जानकारी आपके लिए बहुत जरूरी है। समय-समय पर CGHS मे बदलाव को लेकर आदेश जारी किया जाता है जो की हर पेन्शनधारको को जानना बेहद ही जरूरी है।
पेंशनधारकों को मिलती है खास सुविधा
केन्द्रिय पेंशनभोगी खासकर जो 75 साल या इसके ऊपर के है तो ऐसे पेंशनधारको को खास सुविधा मिलती है कि वे प्रत्येक वर्ष CGHS के तहत सूचीबद्ध प्राइवेट अस्पतालो में अपना Annual Check up करा सकते है। लेकिन शर्त यह होती है कि पहले आपको CGHS wellness Centre के CMO से इसकी मंजूरी लेनी पड़ती है।
CMO करते है मनमानी
जब पेंशनभोगी CGHS Wellness Centre के CMO से मंजूरी लेना चाहते है तो वे इसकी मंजूरी नही देते है। जिसकी वजह से पेंशनधारक CGHS सूचीबद्ध प्राइवेट अस्पतालों में अपना Annual Health Checkup नही करा पाते है। इस प्रकार पेन्शनधारको को बहुत परेशानी का सामना करना पडता है। अब केंद्र सरकार ने cghs welness centre की मनमानी पर लगाम लगायी है।
पेंशनभोगी संघटनो की मिली थी शिकायत
केंद्र सरकार के पास इस तरह की शिकायते पेंशनभोगी संघटनो की तरफ से बार-बार मिल रही थी। जिसमे कहा जा रहा था कि पेंशनभोगियो को सूचीबद्ध प्राइवेट हॉस्पिटलों में Anuuel Health Checkup के लिए CGHS Wellness के CMO मंजूरी देते ही नही है। पेन्शनधारको को केवल परेशान किया जाता है।
केंद्र सरकार ने लिया Action
ढेरो शिकायते मिलने के बाद केंद्र सरकार ने सख्त आदेश जारी किया और CMO को आदेश दिए कि किसी भी पेंशनभोगी को Annual Health Checkup के लिए रोका ना जाये। अगर पेंशनभोगी चेकअप कराना चाहते है तो उनको इसकी मंजुरी दिया जाय। अगर इस आदेश के बाद भी इसका उल्लंघन होता है तो CGHS Wellness Centre के CMO के खिलाफ कार्यवाई की जाएगी।
पेन्शनधारको को मिलती है ये खास सुविधा
केंद्र सरकार ने इसके पहले आदेश जारी किया था की cghs welness centre मे जब पेन्शनभोगी अपना इलाज कराने जाते है तो कर्मचारी उनके साथ अच्छे से व्यवहार करे, उनके साथ अच्छे से ट्रीट करे, आदर की भावना रखकर ऊनका इलाज करे। साथ मे केंद्र सरकार ने कहा था की 75 साल या इसके उपर के जो पेन्शनभोगी है तो डॉक्टर ऊनका इलाज विडियो कॉल के माध्यम से ना करे। उनको आयुष डे केयर सेंटर पर रेफर करे।

पेंशनधारक इन बातों को भी जान ले
- 75 साल या इसके ऊपर के पेंशनधारकों को इंकम टैक्स रिटर्न फ़ाइल ना करने की छूट दी जाती है। अगर बैंक ने टैक्स की कटौती कर ली है तो ITR File करने की जरूरत नही है।
- 60 साल से 80 साल के जो पेंशनभोगी है उनको 3 लाख रुपये वार्षिक आय पर कोई भी टैक्स नही देना पड़ता है।
- 80 साल के ऊपर के जो पेंशनधारक है उनको 5 लाख रुपये वार्षिक आय पर कोई टैक्स नही देना पड़ता है।
- इस महीने जिनकी उम्र 80 साल या इसके ऊपर हो रही है तो उनकी बेसिक पेंशन में 20% की बढ़ोतरी की जाती है, नई बेसिक पेंशन के ऊपर बढ़ा हुआ महँगाई भत्ते (DR) का भुगतान किया जाता है।
- 75 साल के ऊपर के जो पेंशनभोगी है अगर उनकी कम्युटेशन रिस्टोरेशन नही हुई है तो वे बैंक में एप्लिकेशन देकर इसकी बहाली करा सकते है।

But I can’t received new plastic card
I m 76 yrs old central government pensioner staying at Ratnagiri,which is away from Mumbai (500 km)Pune(400) and Panaji (450) hence i m deprived of CGHS facilities.Due to non availability of mmediate medical assistant I lost my wife due to Cardiac arrest.Govt.should think of immediate increase FMA,.Now I m getting 1000 pm which is not at all sufficient.Local medical practitioners are charging 700 to 800.

Pensioners above 75 years should be exempted to obtain permission from CGHS for annual health checkup
This is indeed very good news for Cghs members who are above 75 yers of age. I am very desiring person to go thr physical check. up
They are already exempted. They can go to any empanelled hospital directly.

Kvs an autonomous body under ministry of education does not give cghs facilities to its employees in schools and to pension holders.This step motherly treatment causes lot of hardship to employees in and fter service.Modi G the only leader for common men is hereby requested to kindly bring kvs under cghs scheme so that teachers meant for nation builder can feel secured and may contribute 100%.
CGHS Doctor several times refuse to supply medicine prescribed by approved hospital doctors/specialist even in case of chronic patients above 80 years. Such inhuman. behaviour puta old patient into great trouble
A large number of C.Govt pensioners above 75 yrs with age related disabilities stay in Kendriyavihar, Sector 51, NOIDA, UP, which is a Central Govr sponsored CG servants colony. At present they face lot of difficulties in obtaining CGHS facilities from the Welness Centre at Sect. 11, NOIDA which is more than 5 km away, without proper communication facilities. Min. of H&FW is requested to open a CGHS Welness Centre at Kendriya Vihar or nearby Sectors like 34/50/51/52 etc. where also large number of very aged Persioners do stay.
What about the Pensioners who are not having CGHS Wellness Center near theirs Home Town or Village…? Why they are not being reimbursed the medical bills for the medical treatments taken from theirs respective State Governments Hospital despite the facts that they have had not been given or drawing any fixed Medical Allowance….? The required diagnostic tests are got done at the advice of the State Government Doctors but the CGHS Regional directors returned the bill by stating that the ” OPD ,, treatments bills are not permitted and reimbursed. This is a serious matter and thereby the Pensioners living and settled in the remote Areas are deprived of the medical facilities without taking these facts into an account. It must be looked into it.

This may not resolve the problems being faced by the pensioners as there is heavy rush of the retirees seeking treatment at CGHS wellness cen which are generally understaffed and function only till 1400 hrs. Why should there be any referrals needed from CGHS wellness centre only.?
All CAPF hospitals and government hospitals can be easily given this authority for referring the cases to empannelled CGHS hospitals. Treatment being extended by the wellness centres need lot ….lot of improvement.
पहले सुनने में आया था कि अब प्रत्येक पांच वर्ष में पेंशन में 5%की बढ़ोतरी हो सकती है अभी केवल 80%से ऊपर के पेंशनर्स को 20%की बढ़ोतरी होती है। अगर हर पांचवीं वर्ष 5%की बढ़ोतरी की जाय तो ज्यादा लोगों को फायदा होगा। क्यों कि 80 वर्ष की आयु होते-होते अधिकांश पेंशनर्स ईश्वर के घर हाजिरी लगाने चले जाते हैं।

My case be opened and be allowed Private Ward facility.
Alld CGHS be ordered to allow Private Ward facility.
There is no CGHS wellness centre in Panipat due to which pensioners have to face lot of difficulty for medical treatment.
This is very good and important landmark but how to avail the same as these types of circulars might not be displayed properly on these center’s

Sir, There is no CGHS Wellness Centre in Rohtak (Haryana). Is there any proposal for opening of wellness centre in Rohtak ?
Annual check up is mandatory check up for every citizen at all ages. Then why permission from the CMO, This will not only increase rush in CMO office, will also trouble some. Please consider my view
I belong to Pathankot Punjab, the wellness centre is at Amritsar, Jalandhar and Jammu are 115 kilometres away. It’s very difficult for senior citizens to take medicine’s from these wellness centres. Some time we have to go for two times to collect medicines. If a wellness centre open at Pathankot, this will be very beneficial for Pathankot, gurdaspur, mukerian and kangra district CGHS Card holders. Kindly take necessary action on our request.

Sir, I met with an Accident on the Mumbai – Goa highway while in Service dated 10th April 2006. Due to major injury I was admitted in the Private Hospital ” Panacea, Panvel, Maharashtra. After the discharge from hospital and taking rest ( Bed ridden) I had joined my duties at Jaigad light house, Ratnagiri , Maharashtra. That time my physical Condition was very bad hence I had requested my Superior ( Director of light houses & light ships, Mumbai) for transfer to Head office, Mumbai thrice but my request was not Considered. Consequently I had applied for Voluntary retirement since I had Completed my 35 yrs.+ Service. Due to accidental injury I become physically disabled ( 40% ) After my retirement I had applied for the disability Allowances but my request was tuned down by The Director General of Light houses & Lightships, Noida, New Delhi. giving reason that I have been retired Voluntarily. I hope you would advise me in this Case.

There are two very useful facilities for CGHS beneficiaries above 75 years age namely:-
1. They can go direct to specialists in empanelld hoshospitals without a referal from Wellness Centre’s and,
2. They don’t require permission from Wellness Centre for getting testes prescribed by the specialist done from an approved pathology.
I also request to open cghs wellness centre in Rohtak.
Is there any CGHS wellness centre at Cooch Behar District in West Bengal ? As I know Cooch Behar is not under CGHS area..How the pensioners beyond the age of 75 years would undergo physical checkup(annual) under CGHS ?
